A bit about me!
who’s behind the camera and curls?
Hey, Nath here! A wedding, lifestyle and brand photographer by day, and live music, events and festival photographer by night. From intimate press-shots and elopements, through to 10,000+ person music festivals.
I picked up a camera for the first time when I was about 5. Dad always had a camcorder handy for all our adventures around Vic, Aus - so capturing moments is in my blood.
Fast forward 20 years - I joined the Australian Army and spent my leave hiking National Parks around FNQ and Mountain tops throughout S.E Asia, cameras always in hand.
When it felt right to step away from the uniform, I'd already built a name for myself in Townsville. After three years in Brisbane growing personally and professionally, I'm back - more ready than ever to snap away!

My Biggest Challenge
Leaving my dream job and the financial security with it...
I always thought I'd be in the Australian Army for life; though 5 years in (2016-2021), both my shoulders needed surgery. I made the decision to leave and use the recovery time to expand my brand.
There are photos of me photographing one-handed for Xavier Rudd (4 days out of surgery) and covering 3 events in 3 cities driving from Brisbane-Townsville-Cairns in one weekend.
I miss it at times, but I still have a few life0-long friends I catch up with regularly.

My Greatest Moment
Mere days after leaving the Army, I was photographing a festival in Townsville "Neck of The Woods" 2021.
Kim Churchill was one of the acts and I had the pleasure of getting to know him on a deeper level that day.
The evening finished with us side stage singing along to Ball Park Music's "It's nice to be alive" while the Full Moon was shining in from above the crowd.
WILDD!

My Favourite Sessions
I work along side a charity in Brisbane & Townsville named "Ambulance Wish".
These Angels provide a last wish for palliative care patients (days/weeks to live).
Each time I find myself tearing up. It's beautiful to be a part of capturing a last adventure for families so they can hold the memories for years to come.
